Description

Ante Citon: Volume 1 presents a world called Citonia, a tidally locked planet orbiting an ancient star in a binary system. Its surface is divided between extreme heat and cold, creating two distinct humanoid civilizations: the Sahrei, living in the scorching day, and the Nuarine, surviving in the frozen night. Both have adapted uniquely to their harsh environments, with the Sahrei mastering solar energy and the Nuarine manipulating magnetic fields.

Though they coexisted in a tenuous peace, using a twilight border for trade and diplomacy, their philosophies diverged deeply. The discovery of temperate planets orbiting a second star ignites a struggle. Both tribes agree that migration to these new worlds is essential to their survival, but their differences in approach quickly escalate. The Nuarine demand the cessation of certain Sahrei practices before any cooperation can occur, while the Sahrei see these demands as an affront to their way of life.

As diplomatic talks collapse, both civilizations withdraw, preparing for conflict. Tensions rise, and what began as a cooperative endeavor to escape their dying planet turns into a race for survival. Technological and scientific advancements only further entrench their differences, with each side unwilling to make the necessary sacrifices. Both tribes are left locked in a struggle fueled by mistrust and pride, hurtling toward disaster as their world edges closer to collapse.

In the end, Ante Citon: Volume 1 sets the stage for an inevitable confrontation, with the fate of Citonia hanging in the balance.
